Xianming Wu

New Bedford – Sadly, at 2:18 am on March 21, 2025, Dad (Xianming Wu) left us forever at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Qiongfang Yu.

Dad was cautious and prudent in his life, and hardworking and frugal. He was kind-hearted, had a harmonious family, and poured endless love on his children, uniting everyone in the group with enthusiasm and sincerity.

In the ordinary years, Dad was full of love for music and was proficient in various musical instruments. The melodies blown from his whistle were the most moving music in life. He was not only a music lover, but also the backbone of the family. With responsibility and love, he interpreted the role of an excellent father and relative.

Now, Dad has traveled far away, but his voice and appearance are still there. May Dad rest in peace in heaven. We will miss you forever!

He is survived by his wife, Qiongfang Yu; his son: Yuefeng Wu and daughter-in-law Bifen Weng; his daughter, Wenqi Yu and son-in-law Jian Giang Yu; as well as his grandkids, Zepei Wu, Michael Yu and Miley Yu.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025. Visiting hours will take place at Perry Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service to be held at Noon. Burial will immediately follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
