Virgilio Adorno Rivera

New Bedford – Virgilio Adorno Rivera, age of 91 of New Bedford, MA passed away of natural causes at St. Luke’s Hospital surrounded by his loving. He was born in Manati, Puerto Rico and was the beloved son of Francisco Adorno and Martina Rivera.

Virgilio loved playing cards; as well as playing and finishing Dominoes, he was so good at it. He was always so full of life and loved being around family. He will be missed greatly.

He is survived by his loving wife Saturnina Ortiz; children, Jose Adorno, Mariana Adorno, Luis Adorno, Jorge Adorno, Rosa Adorno, Samuel Adorno, Marilyn Adorno, Luz Gonzalez and multiple grandkids and great-grandkids. He is also survived by his siblings Rosa Adorno, Mariana Adorno, Benjamin Adorno, Anita Adorno and Justino Adorno.

Virgilio’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home. His visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service to take place at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural Cemetery.
