Stephen Escobar

Milford – Stephen Escobar, age 55, of New Bedford, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at Milford Regional Medical Center with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Celina Dearruda.

He was born in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved son of Angelina (DaSilva) Escobar and the late Eduardo Escobar. He had worked at South End Income Tax and also for Tremblay Bus Co.

Stephen loved the New England Patriots, traveling, and above all, spending time with his family. He was always there to help anyone he could.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Celina Dearruda; his mother, Angelina Escobar; his son, Alfonso Paul Dearruda; his daughter, Abby Salome-Escobar; his brother, Eduardo Escobar and his wife Jeannie-Mae Durfee Escobar and his nephews, Jacob Adam Durfee Escobar.
