Sherry Penler

Dartmouth – Sherry Marie Penler, age 55, of Dartmouth, MA passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of Robert John Penler.

She was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and was the daughter of Warren and Anne Doty. Sherry loved riding motorcycles, traveling and camping but above all, she treasured her time spent with her family.

Sherry is survived by her husband, Robert John Penler; her 3 children, Britnei Silva and her husband Jason, Scott Penler and Ashlee Lima; 5 grandchildren, Masen Silva, Madalyn Davidopoulos, Gavin Penler, Grayson Lima and Aliviah Silva. She is also survived by her sisters, Kelly Lemen and Susan Scribner; her 2 brothers, Michael Doty and Luis Doty; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sherry’s visiting hours will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a service to be held during this time. Cremation will follow.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
