Rosalie Bettencourt

Marion – Rosalie (Poirier) Bettencourt, age 86, of Marion and formerly of New Bedford, MA passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Sippican Healthcare Center.

She was born in New Bedford, MA and was the daughter of Michiel A. Poirier and Mary (Traveres) Perry. She had worked as a drill press operator for Olan Aegis for many years. Rosalie loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Richard Bettencourt, and Robin Bettencourt; grandchildren, Amanda, Harley, Jacqueline, Jack and Matthew; as well as her 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, James Poirier.

Rosalie was predeceased by her late son, Kevin Bettencourt; her late siblings, Arlene Cabral, William Poirier, Donald Poirier, Michael Poirier, Irene Thibeault and Caroline Almeida.
