Raymond Medeiros

New Bedford – Raymond Medeiros, age 91, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Helen (Pietrzyk) Medeiros. 

Raymond was born in New Bedford, Ma. to the late John Medeiros and Hortense (Correia) Medeiros. He had worked for Alden Corrugated Container Manufacturing as a machine operator and had also worked at Perry Funeral Home for several years. He had also served in the United States Marine Corp.

Ray is survived by his wife, Helen; his son, Michael Medeiros; grandchildren, Mitchell and his wife Rachael, Marshall and Zachary Medeiros, Alyssa Medeiros and Jessica Kolesnikov; daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Medeiros; as well as 3 great-grandchildren. 

He was also the father of the late Russell Medeiros.

Raymond’s visiting hours and funeral services will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024. Visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home from 8:30 A.M. – 10:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church at 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John Cemetery.
