Somerset - Mary E. Pemberton age 69 passed away unexpectedly surrounded by her loving family at home.

Mary was born in Fall River, Ma to the late Mary D “Hopkins” Buckley and Richard J. Buckley. She worked at Hobby Craft out of Providence, RI most of her life and enjoyed volunteering her time for the Somerset Flower Club.

When Mary was not gardening or spending time with her grandchildren, she was cooking, baking, shopping, boating, dancing, out at the beach or with her ‘boat ramp’ friends hanging by the Somerset Village Waterfront Park.

Mary is survived by husband Thomas “Tom” Pemberton, her stepdaughter, Kellie, her furry son Pepper. Grandchildren, Olivia and Adrianne Demers, her brother Richard Buckley and wife, Rosemary. She is survived by nephews Michael Buckley, Timothy Buckley and wife Amy, children Liam and Elle. She also had many wonderful cousins who were like sisters and friends who were like family.

Mary’s memorial service will be held on Friday, December 29,2023 from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Perry Funeral Home. Her ashes will be scattered over the ocean as she desired privately at a later date.
