Maria C. Pereira

New Bedford – Maria C. (Crespo) Pereira, age 83, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at St. Luke’s Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Cassiano Pereira.

Maria was born in Melo, Portugal and was the loving daughter of the late Antonio Augusto Crespo and Patrocinia (Mimoso) Crespo. She had been a stitcher for Cliftex Corp. for many years.

She is survived by her 3 children, Antonio C. Pereira and his wife Maria E. Pereira, Maria Clara Cardoso and her husband Emanuel Cardoso and Nuno Pereira and his girlfriend Jacqueline Belo; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 brother Serafim Mimoso and his wife Helena Mimoso and their son Michael Mimoso.

Maria’s funeral services are private.
