Mara Estela Garzon

New Bedford – Mara Estela Garzon, age 41, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved daughter of Carlos E. Garzon and Maria (Braga) Garzon. 

Mara is survived by her son, Dasean Garzon; her mother, Maria Garzo; her father, Carlos E. Garzon; sister, Fidela Garzon; brother, Carlos M. Garzon; nephews, Brett Medeiros, Marcus Garzon, Marquez Garzon and Owen Garzon; nieces, Mckenzie Medeiros, Maddison Medeiros and Amaraha Garzon; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mara’s visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a funeral service to take place during this time. Cremation will follow.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
