Manuel Santos

New Bedford – Manuel Santos, age 86, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Roque) Santos.

Manuel was born in Ponta do Sol, Madeira, Portugal to the late Manuel Santos and Felisbella (Da Horta) Santos. He had worked as a cutter in the Textile Industry. He loved to take care of his garden

Manuel is survived by his wife, Maria Santos; his son, Paul M. Santos and his husband Christopher Eramo of Boston; his brother, Adelino Santos and his wife Barbara of New Bedford; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Mary Graca, Germaine De Freitas, John Santos and Gertrude Macedo.

Manuel’s funeral services will be held privately for family only.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford MA.
