Kerri Ann Fidalgo, 31, of Dartmouth, MA passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 20, 2024 with her loving family by her side. 

The beloved daughter of Joaquim and Melissa (Costa) Fidalgo, Kerri was born on July 2, 1993 in New Bedford, MA. She grew up with her three sisters and a loving extended family. Kerri was a “people person” from a very young age, making friends wherever she went. Upon her high school graduation, Kerri went on to Nichols college where she received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She put her skills to work helping people in her community as a trusted and respected staff member at the New Bedford 3rd District Court. 

Kerri will be remembered for her huge heart, happy-go-lucky personality, and her smile that could light up any room. Always full of life, she loved travel, tattoos, and entertaining friends and family through hosting parties. Kerri was a huge “foodie” and enjoyed the beach. Daytona Beach, FL was a special place for her, where she cherished the tranquility and beauty of the ocean. Above all, she loved spending time with those most important to her, her family and friends. She was loved by many and will be missed more than words can ever say.

Kerri is survived by her loving parents, Joaquim Fidalgo and Melissa Fidalgo; sisters Kaila Whalen, Jacquelyn Fidalgo and Jazelle Fidalgo; maternal grandparents, José and Linda Costa and paternal grandparents, João Luis Bilhano and Rosa Fidalgo. She is also survived by her Uncle Philip Costa, his fiancé Cassie Medeiros and their son, Isaiah Costa; Uncle John Fidalgo, his wife Ana Fidalgo and their daughter, Rosana Fidalgo; Niece and nephew, Luke Whalen Jr. and Lindyn Whalen and a host of friends, family and supporters who will hold her memory in their hearts forever.

The community is welcome to join Kerri’s family to honor her incredible life and spirit on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home, located at 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Visiting hours will take place from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a remembrance service to be held during this time.
