John Joseph Quail

Fall River – John J. Quail age 79, of Dartmouth, MA passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at St. Annes Hospital after a long illness. He was the loving husband of 60 years to Cynthia “Cindy” (Brown) Quail and father of Darlene M. Quail of Cape Coral, Florida.

John was born in New Bedford, MA, he attended New Bedford High School, and was a member of the Murphy Football Club. John was employed at AmeriGas Propane until his retirement. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. 

For 55 years, John enjoyed camping with his family. He was a member of NAFCA and other camping clubs. John was truly a devoted New England Patriots fan.

He is survived by his wife Cindy, his daughter Darlene and many nieces and nephews.

John was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Karen Irene Quail, his parents Joseph “Red” Quail and Mary Quail, two brothers Peter Quail and Ashley Stack, and a sister Thomasina (Quail) Zeigler.

John’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. His funeral will take place Thursday morning, beginning in the funeral home at 9:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in St. John Cemetery.
