Jean Kellaway

New Bedford – Jean Dickinson Kellaway, age 91, of New Bedford passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Jean was born in Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada to the late Clifford Dickinson and Lily (Hutchinson) Dickinson. She had worked as a travel agent for many years. She loved going to the Symphony and the Zeiterion Theater and had been an advocate for Social Justice. Jean had also been the YWCA Woman of the Year several times and the co-founder of the New Bedford Art Museum.

Jean is survived by her son, Ronald Kellaway; daughter, Andrea Stites; grandson, Ethan Kellaway; granddaughter, Angela Stites, 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
