The family of Jacqueline Barboza of New Bedford, MA is saddened to announce her passing on August 25, 2024 at the age of 83 years old. She was peacefully surrounded with all her family by her side.

She was the wife of her late husband Victor Barboza and was the daughter of the late John and Helen Martin Andrade. Jacqueline worked at the Dartmouth Manor for 20 years up until retirement. She was the matriarch of the family. She was always surrounded by her family every week cooking family meals. It was a tradition at her home. She enjoyed music and dancing.

Jacqueline is survived by her children Karen Barboza, Jeffrey Barboza, Victor Barboza Jr., Michael Barboza and Alicia Barboza.

Her sister Marita Andrade and her loving cousin Manuela (Penny) Pires.

Her grandchildren Sheena Barros, Jerome Barboza, Kelsey Sirjoosingh, Roberto Bachiller, Alex Barboza, Britteny Matias, Brandon Barboza, Kyle Paulino, Sharae Barboza, Sienna Barboza, Jaliah Frometa and Gisele Frometa.

Jacqueline had 14 great grandchildren.

She will be missed by all her family and friends. We will always and forever carry your memory in our hearts.

Jacqueline’s visitation and prayer service with her cremains will be held at Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. New Bedford, MA on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M.
