Ignatius L. DeMello

New Bedford – Ignatius L. DeMello, age 85, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Born in Goa, India he was the son of the late Andre Cruz and Casilda (Andrade) Cruz.

Ignatius had been an Aerospace Engineer for many years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will immediately follow in St. John Cemetery.
