Guido Gaudencio Cardenas

New Bedford – Guido G. Garcia, age 80, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Sonia Forty-Cardenas.

Guido was born in Manta, Ecuador and was the son of the late Sebastian Cardenas and Alba Macias. He had been a welder at Total Welding Supply.

He is survived by his siblings, Jorge, Manuel Cardenas (deceased) Cesar Cardenas, Rosa Lopez, George Washington Ruiz, (deceased), Eligio Ruiz, Javier Ruiz; his children, Isabel Villacis Cardenas, Rosa Zambrano Cardenas, Jovanny Rodriguez, Yailka, Joshua, Joachim, Kiara & Keyla Forty-Cardenas; grandchildren, Yashida & Octavio Villacis, Miguel Zambrano, Jarell & Karyn Rodriguez, Jarien, Jaryana, Aydan Forty-Cardenas, Aniel & Adriel Cardenas, Jayden Cormier and many nieces and & nephews.

Guido’s services will take place on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Christian Fellowship Center located at 822 Church St, New Bedford, MA 02745 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the Christian Fellowship Center.
