Gerard Montinard

Providence – Gerard Montinard, age 85, of Providence, Rhode Island passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in Providence with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Enice (Cazeau) Montinard.

Gerard was born in Petion-Ville, Haiti to the late Montilis Montinard and Idovia (Pierre) Montinard.

Gerard is survived by his wife, Enice C. Montinard, and his 9 children, 21 grandchildren and great-grandson as follows:
Pasteur Yves Montinard and his wife Marie Benita N. Montinard and their 2 children, Yves Joël, Joshuah;
Margella Montinat Rochefort and her husband Pasteur Ronald Rochefort;
Pierre André Montinat and his 2 children, Joulia and Darling;
Pasteur Jean Marc Montinard and his wife Jesuna M. Montinard and their 5 children: Bill Marc Kenley, Rebecca, Juan Christo, Milly Dorothy, John Lévi;
Pasteur Djems Basting and his wife Lucianie PL. Montinat and their 2 children, Lynn Terry and Josué;
Natacha Montinat and her 3 children, Sefora Fanfan, Rachelle Déborah Montinat and Iders Renard;
Evangelist Daniel Roy Montinat and his wife Reginalda J. Montinat and their 4 children: Marie Florence, Christie, Shamma, Abraham and their grandson, Gabriel Nicolas;
Alfiolita Montinat and her son, Harllysson Ambroise
Olivier Montinat and his wife  Cindy P. Montinat and their 2 children Jeihel and Mason.
His nephews and nieces, Reynold, Montinat, Anderson Montinat, Rey Montinat, Sébastien Montinard, Kervens Montinard, Mona Montin and his brother, Samson.

Gerard’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from  7:00 A.M.- 9:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 9:00 A.M.   at Evangelical Church of Jesus Christ (Haitian Church) located at 11 Anderson Way, North Dartmouth, MA 02747  Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

All attendees are kindly asked to meet directly at the church.
