Gail Deborah Farland

Brockton – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gail Deborah Farland, age 61, on Monday, March 17, 2025. Gail was born in Boston, MA and was the beloved daughter of the late Helen M. (Manning) Dowd of Quincy.

Gail had been married to Thomas Farland and together they had six children. She leaves behind her daughters, Jennifer and her husband Orion Williams of Quincy, LeeAnn Manning of Fall River, Melissa Manning of Brockton; her sons, Thomas Manning and his wife Susan, Justin Farland and his wife Zahra of New Bedford and Jaymie Farland of Taunton. Gail was the loving grandmother to 25 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She also leaves behind her sisters, Deborah Manning of Quincy, the late Marie Campbell of Holbrook, Josephine Campbell of Canton and Lorraine Polleys of Brockton. Gail is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gail’s visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home from 3:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. Cremation will follow.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
