Flordan Benson Bazile

New Bedford – Flordan Benson Bazile, age 21, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Born in Orlando, Florida he was the beloved son of Marie Flaude Bazile Colin.

Flo was a student and a member of the track team at UMass Dartmouth. He had also been a member of the Haitian American Students Association, a member of the Kompassion Dance Team as well as a member of the Cape Verdean Student Association and dance team.

Most importantly, Flo will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. 

He is survived by his loving mother, Marie Flaude Bazile Colin; loving sister, Florisme Bazile and her 2 loving sons, Flordel and Flordian; his brother, Jacques Bazile and his daughter, Janaya and his son, Treynon; as well as his cat, Onyx.

Flo’s visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Friday evening, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. His funeral services will be held Saturday morning at the Evangelical Church of Jesus Christ (Haitian Church) located at 11 Anderson Way, North Dartmouth, MA 02747. Visitation will be held from 8:00 A.M. – 9:00 A.M. and followed by a service that will be held from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
