Filomena Brandao

Fall River – Filomena Brandao, age 62, of Dartmouth passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Charleton Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Filomena was born in Ponta Delgado St. Michael, Azores to the late Maria E. (Palheiro) Farpea and Antonio A. Farpea.  She worked at a Dr. Rosens office in  Medical billing. Filomena who loved to be called “Phyllis” enjoyed shopping, reading and spending time with her family.  

Filomena is survived by her daughters, Ashley Brandao and her companion Brian Carvalho, Megan Brandao and her companion Nick. Grandchildren, Maximus Carvalho, Callie Carvalho and Gianna Riquinha, her siblings, Ana Clapper and her husband Kevin and Michael Farpea, she is also survived by her goddaughter, nephews, nieces , cousins and friends. In addition to her parents Antonio and Maria Farpea, she is predeceased by her brother Manuel Farpea.

Filomenas arrangements were private for family only.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford MA.
