Eugenia Medeiros

New Bedford – Eugenia M. Medeiros, age 62, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly of a prolonged illness on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

Maria was born in Sao Miguel, Acores to the late Antone Santos Medeiros and Donatila Maria (Sousa) Medeiros. She had worked at Michael Bianco Clothing as a Stitcher. She always loved being with her family and spending time with her friends

Eugenia is survived by her children André Felipe Medeiros Peixoto and Neuza Raquel Medeiros; her grandchildren Makayla and Ava Peixoto; and her siblings Joao Luis, Mario Jorge, Carlos Alberto, Manuela, Ana, and Cisaltina Medeiros.

Eugenia’s visiting hours will be held on Friday evening, October 13, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Her funeral will take place on Saturday, beginning in the funeral home at  9:00 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
