Estrela Cordeiro

New Bedford - Estrela Cordeiro, age 90, passed away on Friday July 28, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Estrela was born in Figueira da Foz, Portugal to the late Marcolina Cordeiro and Herminio Cordeiro, and was the loving wife for many years to Antonio Fernandes.

Estrela is survived by her daughters Ana Pata and her husband Domingos, and Maria Pereira and her husband Joao; her granddaughters Sonia Canann and her husband Rob, Susan Costa and her husband Eric, Denise Secia and her husband Mark, and Cynthia Harrington and her husband Sean; her great grandchildren Alessandro, Zara, Aryanna, Bently, Ethan, Collin, Quinn, Landen and Lilliana; Her Brother Joao Cordeiro and his wife Odilia of Portugal;

Estrela's Funeral Service will take place at Perry Funeral Home, starting at 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church at 11:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in New Bedford.
