Emily Gomes

New Bedford – Emily (Francisco-Ramos) Gomes, age 83, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

Emily was born in New Bedford, MA to the late Adeline (Pina-Francisco) Neves and Henrique Francisco.

Emily is survived by her son, Anthony Ramos Jr.; cousins, Mildred (Duarte) Fernandes, Diana Duarte and many cousins and godchildren.

Emily was predeceased by her beloved baby girl Laura (Laurie) Ramos.

Emily’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Perry Funeral Home from 4:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M. with a service to take place during this time. Cremation to follow.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford MA.
