Eleanor Joanne (Ramos) Mills

New Bedford – Eleanor Joanne (Ramos) Mills, age 77, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Born in Acushnet, MA she was the daughter of the late Antone Ramos and Joanna (Almeida) Ramos. She had worked as a secretary for Cornell-Dublilier and later worked as a District DMA for Brooks/Rite Aid Pharmacy for 20 years. She loved children and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Eleanor is survived by her children, Nicholas Mills and Carlie Mills; grandchildren, Tyler Mills and Izaiah Mills; several nieces and nephews and her dear friend, Melissa Cabral.

She was predeceased by her late children, Michele Mills, Trevor Mills and her stillborn son, Andrew Mills; as well as her late siblings, Bob Ramos, Tony Ramos and Milton Ramos.
