Edwin Ferran

New Bedford – Edwin Ferran, age 63, of New Bedford passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Maria Fatima (Araujo) Ferran.

Edwin was born in Brooklyn, New York to Naomi Morales and the late Miguel Ferran. He had worked as a carpenter for many years.

Edwin is survived by his wife, Maria Fatima Ferran; his 4 children, Edwin Matthews, Desiree Ferran Prior, Darlene Ferran, and Edwin Ferran Jr.; grandchildren, Jai’Lynn, Arell, Javin, Aniyah-Lee, A’Naejah, Lucas, Hunter and Camden; brothers, Miguel Ferran, Philip Ferran, Louis Ferran, Ivan Ferran and Ricky Ferran; and his sister, Darlene Vega.

Edwin’s visiting hours and funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Perry Funeral Home. Visiting hours will be held from 10:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. with a service to take place at 12:00 P.M. Burial will immediately follow in Rural cemetery.
