New Bedford – Eduardo Vargas, Jr., age 46, of New Bedford, MA passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital with his loving siblings by his side.
Born in Montreal, Canada he was the beloved son of Aida (Amaral) DaSilva and Pedro DaSilva. He had worked for an electrical contracting company over the years and had also run his own car detailing business years before that.
Junior will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality, crazy humor and being the best dressed person in the room. He was always the life of the party and ready to just dance the night away and make everyone around him laugh and have a good time. He was especially proud of his family and their extremely close bond and cherished all of their time together. When he wasn’t being the life of the party, he enjoyed cooking and making sure to go live on his social media and show his friends his daily life and stay connected with everybody that he could. He was also a devoted dog dad to his boys Levi and Gizmo; he loved them just as if they were his own children and it was amazing thing to see.
Eduardo is survived by his mother, Aida DaSilva and father, Peter DaSilva; Brother, Matthew DaSilva and wife Mary-Jo DaSilva; Sister, Stephanie DaSilva; Brother, PJ DaSilva; Sister, Elisabeth Vargas; Nieces, Samantha Chace, Zoe DaSilva, Mila DaSilva; Nephews, Adrian Cruz, Aiven Avila; Dogs, Levi and Gizmo; As well as many many aunts, uncles and cousins.
