Domingos Guerreiro Martins Ferro

Dartmouth, MA – Domingos Guerreiro Martins Ferro, age 91, of Dartmouth, MA passed away at home with his loving family by his side on May 30, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Maria Leonilde Assis (Guerreiro) Ferro. 

Domingos was born in Olhão, Algarve, Portugal and was the beloved son of the late Manuel Joaquim Martins Ferro and Gertrudes Guerreiro. He had been the Proprietor of Brazil Bakery, where he was also the baker. In his free time, he enjoyed breeding birds and gardening.  Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.

Domingos is survived by his loving wife, Maria Leonilde Assis Ferro; his daughter, Isilda Ferro-Dos Santos and her husband Oscar D. Dos Santos; his son, Domingos Manuel Ferro and his wife Julie Ferro; 2 grandchildren, Alex Ferro and Tyler Ferro; as well as several nieces and nephews.

His funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024. Visiting hours will be held at Perry Funeral Home from 8:00 A.M. – 9:30 A.M. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:00 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
