Denise Ponte

New Bedford, MA – Denise (Callier) Ponte, age 59, of New Bedford, passed away Friday, July 5th, 2024 at Brandon Woods of New Bedford.

Dee was born in New Bedford and spent her life living in the city. She enjoyed beachside drives, especially at sunset, and spending time with her family, friends, and pets.

She is survived by her children, Jodie Lambeau, Tracy Ponte, Dylan Ponte and Nicole Ponte; grandchildren, Aubrey Sherman, Leilani Ponte and Nevaeh Ponte; aunt Rosemary Marote; uncles Charles Callier and Maurice Callier, as well as several cousins.

Dee was predeceased by her late mother Blanche E. (Callier) Barros, step father Roger Barros, brother Daniel Callier, and fiancé Bruce Sylvia.

Visiting hours with cremains will be held at Perry Funeral Home on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. with a service to be held during this time.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
