Darryl George Duarte, Jr.

Boston – Darryl George Duarte, Jr., age 38, formerly from New Bedford but resided in Boston for the last five years, passed away, after suffering from a long illness. He was the beloved son of Lynn DeMello of New Bedford and the late Darryl George Duarte, Sr.

Darryl is survived by his daughter Savannah E. Duarte, of Florida with her mom, Nichole Abreu; his sisters, Darnyll Duarte and Ty’Asia Barbosa of Virginia; his brother, Jarrell Depina of Rhode Island; his nephew, Jayvin Dias of Wareham. He is also survived by his uncles, George Duarte of Fairhaven, Christopher and Shawn DeMello of Fall River; his aunts, Kelli DeMello of New Bedford, Erica Furtado of So. Dartmouth, Kim Duarte of New Bedford, Cheryl Duarte of Fairhaven, Tara DeMello of Fall River and Stephanie DeMello of CT.; as well as many, many cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandmother's, the late Rosemarie DeMello of New Bedford and the late Edwina Jill (Teixeira) Augustine of Marion, his grandfather's, the late George Duarte of New Bedford and the late Roy DeMello of So. Dartmouth and the late Michael Augustine of New Bedford; as well as the late Eric Schlosser and late uncle Stephen W. DeMello.
