Cynthia Ferreira

Dartmouth – Cynthia G. (Ponte) Ferreira, age 72, of Dartmouth, MA passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. She was the devoted wife of the late Thomas Ferreira.

Cynthia was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Alberto G. Ponte and Avernell (Myers) Ponte. She was proud homemaker throughout the years and loved gardening, vacations and being an adoring grandparent.

She is survived by her her sons Thomas Ferreira Jr., Ronald Gobeil Jr.and his fiancé Sherry Bettencourt, Jesse Ferreira and William Ferreira; daughters Tina Gobeil, Tricia Arruda-Moniz and her husband Jeffrey Moniz; her grandchildren Kylie Arruda, Dillon Bettencourt, Cassie Gobeil, Jessica Ferreira, Kaitlyn Gately and Tyler Gately and 2 great grandchildren; her siblings Alberta Gill, Mary Murphy, Donna Ponte and Alberto Ponte Jr. (also Godson) and her Godson Dan Wagner.
