Cynthia "Cindy" H. Espinola

Dartmouth – Cynthia H.(Berube) Espinola, age 87, of Dartmouth, MA passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at The Cottages in Dartmouth with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard G. Espinola and beloved mother of the late Jeffrey Espinola.

Cynthia was born in New Bedford, MA to the Ernest L. Berube and Kazimiera (Pelczar) Berube. She had been a bus driver for Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech for many years. Cindy loved music, dancing and spending time with her family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Leslie Sassman and the team from New England Hospice for the care and compassion given to Cindy.

She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Espinola; son, Dr. Cliff Espinola and his wife Mitzi; grandchildren, Katie Espinola and her fiancé Sam Piliero, Amie Espinola and her boyfriend Ryan Scala and Cynthia’s sister, Patricia Fanning Montgomery.

She was predeceased by her late grandparents, Frank J. Pelczar and Helen Pelczar, who were a big part of her life.

Cindy’s funeral services are private.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford MA.
