Cristian J. Diaz Mejia

New Bedford – Cristian Josue Diaz Mejia, age 27, of New Bedford, MA passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital on Friday, September 6, 2024 with his loving family by his side. 

Cristian was born in Colón, Honduras and was the son Marvin Diaz Pineda and Rosa Haidee Mejia Manzanares. He had worked as a laborer for a concrete construction company.

Cristian is survived by, Marvin Diaz Pineda and Rosa Haidee Mejia Manzanares, his parents; Santos Manzanares, his grandma; Severiana Mejía, his grandma; Isabel Mejia, his uncle; Denis Mejía, his uncle; Carlos Mejía, his uncle; Carminda Mejía, his aunt; Belky Mejía, his aunt; Andy Mejía, his brother; Erick Mejía, his brother; Modesto Mejía, his uncle; María Mejía, his aunt and Lester Cabrera, his cousin; as well as many other cousins.

Cristian’s visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 5:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Perry Funeral home. His funeral will take place Saturday morning, in the funeral home, beginning at 9:00 A.M. and with a service to take place at 9:30 A.M. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
