Cheryl Araujo

Fairhaven – Cheryl Araujo, age 75, of Dartmouth, MA passed away on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Royal of Fairhaven with her loving family by her side. 

She was born in New Bedford, MA and was the beloved daughter of the late Charles Ripley and Helen (Marshall) Ripley. She had worked as a secretary for Medeiros & Sons Construction. Cheryl loved her doll houses as well as her chickens.

Cheryl is survived by her sons, Joshua Araujo and Colby Araujo and his wife Kristen; grandchild, Kadie Francis; her sister, Marlene Ripley/Ed Zabilski and a nephew, Lee Behuina.

Private funeral arrangements are entrusted to Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth Street, New Bedford.
