Carol Bellefeuille

Carol A. Bellefeuille, age 72, of South Dartmouth, MA, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023. Born in New Bedford, she was daughter of the late Agnes Avery and Frederick Avery.

Carol was a librarian for the City of New Bedford and earned her Master’s Degree in Library Science from Simmons College. An avid traveler, she visited many countries over the course of her life. She volunteered as a Teacher’s Aide at the DeValles Elementary School. More than anything, she loved children and helping them be their best.

Carol is survived by her husband Donald G. Bellefeuille; her son, John Frederick Roy; her sister Rosella DeTerra; her brother Frederick E. Avery and his wife Sally; and her grandson Timothy J. Imbriglio-Roy. Carol was the grandmother of the late Hannah Roy and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
