Annette Audrey Amaral Mullin

New Bedford – Annette Audrey Amaral Mullin, age 63, died peacefully at home surrounded by family after battling a long illness. Annette was the loving and devoted wife of William Walter Mullin and the daughter of Ernest Charles Amaral and Maria Odete (Soares) Amaral.

Annette was a lifelong resident of New Bedford and a graduate of Bristol Community College. She was licensed in Dental Hygiene, Hypnobirthing, EKG and Phlebotomy.

Annette enjoyed being a girl scout leader and PTO President. Her other joys included gardening, camping, ATVing, traveling and dining with family and friends.

Annette is predeceased by her mother, Maria Odete Amaral. She is survived by her husband, William Mulin of New Bedford; her children, Zach Fonseca (son) and his wife Chelsea Fonseca of New Bedford, Rachel Fonseca (daughter) of Palm Beach, Florida, Wayne William Gil Mullin (stepson) of New Bedford; as well as her sister, Lynda Cavanaugh and her ex husband/friend, Kevin Cavanaugh of South Carolina.

She is also survived by Erika Hollis (niece) and her husband Michael Hollis and their children, Logan, Chloe, Michael and Everdeen of South Carolina; Erinn Fauteux (niece) and her husband Nigel Fauteux and their children, Emily and Lincoln of Rochester, MA; Maxx Cavanaugh (nephew) and his wife Megan Cavanaugh and their son Sheamus of Jackman, Maine.

She will also be missed by Susan Medeiros (sister-in-law) and Philip Medeiros (brother-in-law) and their children Jessica Medeiros, Katelyn Dumas and Tyler Medeiros.
