M. David Andrade

New Bedford – M. David Andrade, age 70, died Monday, September 5, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mr. Andrade was the loving husband of Diane (Croteau) Andrade of Dartmouth.
He was also survived by Stepson Jeffrey Rebello, and his wife Stefanie of W. Warwick, RI. Mr. Andrade was the brother of Herbert Andrade, and his wife Claire of New Bedford and Delores Lees of Seminole, Fla. Mr. Andrade is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Andrade was born in New Bedford and lived in this area most of his life. He was a son of the late John and Mary Carmo (Bandarra) Andrade. M. David worked as a supervisor at the water treatment facility in the Town of Dartmouth. He was a member of the Bristol County Radio Control Club. Mr. Andrade was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving during Vietnam.

Mr. Andrade’s funeral will be Thursday at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church, South Dartmouth at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited to visit beginning at 8:45 A.M. “Please Omit Flowers”.
