Shirley M. Harding

New Bedford - Shirley M. (Parris) Harding, 70, of South Dartmouth, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the wife of George E. Harding and the mother of Tom and Glenn Hancock both of South Dartmouth, Paul Hancock of New Bedford, George Harding of New Bedford, Randy Harding of South Dartmouth and the late John Hancock.She had 21 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs Harding was the sister of Marian Peters of Taunton, William Parris of Fairhaven and Robert McKenzie of Taunton. She was also sister of the late Louise Reinice and Audrey Ribeiro.

Mrs. Harding was the daughter of Mr. John Mello of Dighton, Ma. and the late Emily (Owens) Mello. She was a Homemaker.

The Funeral for Mrs. Harding will be on Saturday, February 21,2004. Visiting hours will be Friday, February 20,2004 from 7 - 9 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 A.M., Saturday at the funeral home.
