Robert Moreau

New Bedford – Robert Moreau age 74 years died Monday July 18, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He is survived by his sister Violet Amorin and her husband Jesse of New Bedford as well as his special friend Norma P. Fernandes of Dartmouth, 4 nieces, 3 great nephews and 2 great nieces.

Mr. Moreau was the son of the late Juliet Cormier and Wilfred J. Moreau. He was born in New Bedford. Robert was a cook on several fishing boats. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Robert was a member of Knights of Columbus 4th degree Mcmahon Council 151 as a past Faithful Navigater, member of Mason star of east Paskamasket, and American Legion Post 0458. Robert loved watching classic movies and going to the flea market.

Mr. Moreau’s funeral Mass with his ashes present will be celebrated Wednesday at Holy Name of the Sacred Heart Parish 121 Mt. Pleasant St. at 9:00 A.M. everyone is invited to meet directly at Church Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery # 2.
