Balbina Pimentel Pereira

New Bedford-Balbina (Pimentel) Pereira died February 8, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital.She was the wife of the late Antonio de Jesus Pereira. She is the mother of Antonio Pimentel of Soure, Portugal, Maria Lurdes and her husband Jose Abreu, and Maria “Lena”and her husband Francisco dos Santos, both of New Bedford. She was the sister of the late Joao and Francisco Pimentel, Victoria Fidalgo, Conceicao Pimentel and Luiza Pimentel. She has 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pereira was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Rosa (Curado) Pimentel. She was a packer at various fish plants.
