New Bedford – Maria T. (Tiburcio) deMederios 87, of New Bedford, died Wednesday February 04, 2004, at home with her family at her side. She was the wife of Antonio I. deMedeiros. She was the mother Lodia and her husband Jose Carvalho of New Bedford, Antonio and his wife Maria Fatima deMedeiros of New Bedford, Lucia and her husband Honorato Pacheco of New Bedford, Jose and his wife Eugenia deMedeiros of New Bedford, Joao and his wife Judith deMedeiros of North Dartmouth, Heduino and his wife Martha deMedeiros of North Dartmouth. She was sister of Jose Tiburcio, Idalina Linhares, and Orgina Mello all of Montreal, Canada. She was the sister of the late Manuel, Antonio, and Angelo Tiburcio.

She was born in Ribeira Quente Sao Miguel Azores. She was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Xavier) Tiburcio. She was a Homemaker. Devoted mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family.

The funeral will be Saturday February 7, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet St. New Bedford, MA. Visiting hours will be Friday February 6, 2004 from 5-9 P.M.
