Jose Raposo

New Bedford –Joseph M. Raposo, age 53 years, died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was a son of Alice (Ferreira) Raposo and the late Jose Raposo. Joseph was the brother of Eduardo Raposo husband of Natalie of Ohio, Clotilde wife of Manuel Cabral and Laura wife of Michael Hampton both of New Bedford and the late Joao Raposo. Mr. Raposo leaves behind several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Mr. Raposo was born in St.Michael, Azores, Portugal and he lived in New Bedford area since 1970. Joseph was an assembler at Ketcham Traps.

Mr. Raposo’s visiting hours will be Monday from 6 – 8 P.M. at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
