Richard N. Deschamps Jr.

New Bedford-Richard N. Deschamps Jr. age 57 years died Tuesday at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jody (Medeiros) Deschamps of New Bedford. He was the loved father of Brianne Deschamps, Britanie Deschamps, Brady Deschamps and Brent Deschamps. He was the loving grandfather of Taileigh Hull, Logan Deschamps-Santos and Nyzaiah Camacho. Richard was the brother of William Mayer of Wareham, Donald Mayer of Somerset, Paul Deschamps of Acushnet and Marie L’Heureux of New Bedford.; He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was a son of the late Richard N. and Florence (Thibault) Deschamps. Richard was born in Acushnet. Richard was a general laborer at Sunrise Cable Company.

Mr. Deschamps’ Funeral Services will be Friday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. His services will start at 10:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland, MA. Visiting Hours will be just prior to the service. Relatives and Friends are invited.
