George T. L. “Gorda” England

New Bedford – George T. L. “Gorda” England, age 83 years, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 at home. He was a son of the late Louis and Emma (Garcia) England. Mr. England was the uncle of Shirley Pinto, wife of Donald of N. Dartmouth and Antone Correia of New Bedford as well as several other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by two sisters and seven brothers. Mr. England was born in New Bedford and lived in this area all of his life. George had worked as a mover with Tavares Movers. Mr. England’s funeral will be held graveside at Rural Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. Religious Services will take place at that time. Relatives and friends are invited to meet at the cemetery.
