Renato F. Cabral

New Bedford – Renato F. Cabral, age 76 years, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lia (Pavao) Cabral of Dartmouth. Mr. Cabral was the loved father of Renato M. Cabral and Eugenio P. Cabral of Dartmouth and the late Mario J. Cabral. Renato was the grandfather of Caryn, Nicole, Daniel, Joshua, and Grace Cabral. He was the brother of Antonio Cabral of Canada and Manuela J. Cabral of São Miguel, Açores. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Cabral was a son of the late Maria dos Carmo (Sousa) and Mario Cabral. He was born in São Miguel, Açores and has lived in this area since 1966. Mr. Cabral was employed as a machinist at Shafer Marine

Mr. Cabral’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. on Wednesday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
