Shirley Ann Blouin

Dartmouth – Shirley Ann Blouin , age 74, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long illness. Shirley was the beloved wife of Edward Blouin Sr. She is also survived by her sons Edward Jr, Richard and Gary, grandchildren Ryan, Nicole, and Sabrina, sister Sandra and brother in laws Gerard Picard and Richard and sister in law Gurine Blouin and aunts, and uncles from Middleboro including Dorothy Francisco, Mary Costa and Grace Handy, nephew Glenn and his wife Maryanne Vancour of Michigan , and all her friends that she was very grateful of having. Shirley was the mother of the late Michael Blouin and sister of the late Carolyn Vancour.

Mrs Blouin was the daughter of the late Catherine (Costa) and Clifford Ray, she was born in Middleboro and has lived in the New Bedford, Dartmouth area since 1951. She attended Middleboro Schools until her marriage to Edward Sr. they enjoyed 52 years together raising 4 sons of which Michael has predeceased her and has met her in heaven. Shirley worked as a Winder Tender at Titliest and the Standard Times as a newspaper carrier, then enjoyed the rest of her years as a homemaker taking care of her family.
