Duarte R. Dossantos

New Bedford - Duarte R. dosSantos, age 44, died Wednesday, February 9, 2011. He was the husband of Maria DaGraca (Medeiros) dosSantos. Duarte was the loved father of Michael, Felecia, Nicole, Jeffrey, Dilan and Deego dosSantos all of New Bedford. He was the brother of Joao Jose Santos and his wife Santo Cristo, Erasmo Carlos Santos and Benjamin Santos all of New Bedford

Mr. dosSantos was a son of Joao and Berta (Realejo) Santos of Vila Franca, St. Michael, Azores. He was born in Vila Franca, Do Campo, St. Michael, Azores and lived in this are since 1990. He was a mason with Fernandes Masonry.

Mr. dosSantos’ funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Friday at 9:15 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 10:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 5 - 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
