Luis M. Paiva

Luis M. Paiva died January 6, 2004, at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the husband of Maria C. (Pacheco) Paiva. He was the father of Nelson J. and Gary L. Paiva, both of New Bedford. He was the grandfather of Joshua and Andrew Paiva. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in this area, Canada, and Portugal.

Mr. Paiva is the son of Amelia (Leste) Paiva of Canada and the late Eugenio Pavia. He was born in Sao Miguel, Azores, and has lived here for the last 30 years. He was a landscaper working for James Perry Landscaping.

The funeral Mass will be Thursday January 8, 2004,at St. John the Baptist Church @ 10 A.M.. Family & friends are invited. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, New Bedford, MA.
