Fernanda Buxo

New Bedford- Fernanda Buxo age 66 years, passed away unexpected on January 5, 2011 at St. Lukes Hospital. Ms. Buxo was the sister of Joyce Buxo Jorge and her husband Manuel of New Bedford, Francisco Buxo and his wife Ana of New Bedford, Gilbert Buxo of New Bedford, and Dalila Coelho of Madeira, Survivors also include her nieces and nephews Suzie Jorge, Kathleen Kirkendall, Dorothy Lisak. and Amanda Boxo

Ms. Buxo was a daughter of the late Maria (Macedo) and Francisco Buxo. She was born in New Bedford, and lived here all her life.

Ms. Buxo’s funeral will be from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. Saturday at 7:45 A.M. with a funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church at 8:45 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours Friday evening from 5-8 P.M. Burial will take place at St. John Cemetery.
