John A. Henriques

New Bedford-John A. Henriques age 75 years died Sunday at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Lillian M. (Freitas) Henriques of North Dartmouth. He was the father of Connie Ferreira and John P. Camara both of Dartmouth, and the late Randy Henriques. John was the brother of Antonio Aguiar, Nicholas Henriques and Raul Henriques all of Dartmouth, Manuel Henriques of Acushnet and the late Mary Cipriano. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late Serafim and Adelaide (Ribeiro) Henriques. John was born in Dartmouth and was a life long resident. John was a Vice President of New Bedford Institution for Savings for 40 years, then he went to St. Anne’s Credit Union for 11 years. He retired 3 years ago. He was a member of the Prince Henry Society. He served in the U.S. Army during peacetime

Mr. Henriques’ Funeral Services will be Wednesday at Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. at 8:30 A.M. His Services will start at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at Rural Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. Relatives and Friends are invited.
