Shirley Ann Mccombe

New Bedford- Shirley Ann (Medeiros) McCombe, 55 of New Bedford died Monday, December 15th at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of Walter McCombe. She is survived by her husband, two sons: Scott and Laura Brunell of Plymouth and Douglas Brunell of Lacona, her mother rose (Perry) Medeiros of New Bedford, her step-daughter Wendy and her husbnd Fred Carreiro of New Bedford, two grandsons Jared and Nolan Carreiro, a sister Bernice Sparrow of New Bedford and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Leonard J. Medeiros.

Mrs. McCombe was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Rose (Perry) Medeiros and the late Theophile Medeiros. She lived in this area all of her life. Mrs. McCombe worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Sacred Heart Nursing Home.

The funeral will be Friday December 19, 2003 from Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with services at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home being officiated by Rev. David Schaffer. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, New Bedford, Ma. Calling hours are Thursday December 18th from 5:00 - 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
